Gardai say they have upgraded their investigation into the death of Christy Daly to murder.
The remains of the 47 year old were discovered in a drain just off the Bog Road, outside Clara yesterday morning.
The father of six had been released from prison last month and Gardai are said to be following a number of lines of inquiry.
