Gardai have issued an appeal following a fatal crash in Galway.
A man in his 80s died after three vehicles crashed on the M6 yesterday.
It happened at the intersection of the M6 and M17 shortly before 1pm.
Three women, who were in the other cars, were taken to Galway University Hospital for treatment.
Two of them remain in hospital today.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have been travelling on the East or Westbound lanes of the M6 between 12.40pm and 1pm on Thursday to contact them.
Anyone who has dash cam footage from the time is being asked to make it available to Gardai.
