Gardaí investigating the death of a woman in Limerick city, are looking to speak to a man who entered a shop wearing a 'makeshift bandage'.
The man is understood to have entered the shop on Dock Road where he washed his hands and left.
The woman in her 20s was found in an apartment nearby at around 1.30 pm yesterday afternoon.
Local journalist David Raleigh says it was a 'shocking' discovery.
"This woman who I say is from Eastern Europe, I believe had been living in the building where she was discovered.
"Prayers were being said last night at the local Redemptorist Church located a few streets away".
Detectives are appealing to anyone with camera footage from the Dock Road and O’Curry Street areas of Limerick City from 1pm – 2pm on Tuesday afternoon to contact them.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Henry Street Garda Station on 061 212 400, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
