Gardai investigating the murder of a couple in Co. Meath 5 years ago have made an arrest.
34-year-old Willie Maughan who was from Tallaght in Dublin and his 20-year-old girlfriend Anna Varslavane from Latvia went missing from their home in Gormanston, on the 14th of April 2015.
Gardai believe the couple was murdered but their remains have never been found.
Today a man has been arrested in Co. Meath as part of the investigation into their murder.
The man who is from the UK is also being held in connection with the discovery of firearms in Gormanston in January of this year and the discovery of a large quantity of ammunition last year
He is being held at Ashbourne Garda station and can be detained for up to seven days.
