Gardai investigating the murder of Aidan Kelly in Co. Clare 13 years ago have arrested a man.
Mr Kelly was shot a number of times at Blackwater, Ardnacrusha on May 10th 2006.
A gun was recovered at the scene however no one has ever been detained in connection with his killing.
The arrested man, who's in his late 30s, was taken into custody this morning and is being held at Henry Street Garda Station.
Gardai are appealing to anyone who has information, no matter how insignificant they may think it is, to contact them.
