Gardai are investigating after a woman's body was located in Kerry.
The discovery was made this morning in Lixnaw.
The village of Lixnaw is located just over 10km southwest of Listowel.
Gardai say they are investigating all circumstances surrounding the discovery of the woman's body.
A post mortem examination is to take place on the body this afternoon.
This will then decide the course of the investigation.
Gardaí in Kerry say no further information is available at this time.
