Gardaí are investigating an alleged assault on a young boy in Dublin.
It's reported the 11 year-old was attacked by a number of teenagers in the Ballyfermot area at around ten to seven last Friday evening.
He was taken to hospital for treatment after suffering facial injuries.
Posting on social media, the boy's mum claims the 11 year-old was dragged away from friends and attacked by a group of teenagers over a football.
Gardaí say no arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.
