Gardai have confirmed that the body of a man has been found in Ballymun in Dublin.
The discovery was made shortly before 11 o'clock.
The man's body was found in a container in the Balbutcher Lane area of Ballymun. Gardai say the age of the victim has not yet been confirmed.
His body remains at the scene pending a full technical examination.
Gardai say the result of a post mortem is needed to determine the course of their investigation and they are also appealing for witnesses to come forward.
