Gardaí have broken up a protest by Debenhams staff in Dublin, for breaching COVID-19 restrictions.
Earlier this month Debenhams announced that its Irish branches wouldn't be reopening following the covid-19 crisis.
The decision affects around 2,000 jobs in Ireland.

Workers at stores in Waterford, Limerick and Cork are protesting against the decision.
However, those who were protesting outside the store on Henry Street in Dublin were told by Gardai to disperse.
The protesters claim they cleared their plan with local Garda stations beforehand, but this was disputed by Gardaí patrolling the area.
I’ve just spoken to the shop Stewart coordinating the protest at Debenhams, Patrick Street, Cork.
Gardaí in Cork being described as supportive of the protest. Two members present, keeping an eye from across the road.
