A female Garda who was in a patrol car rammed by joyriders in Dublin this week says she's 'glad to be alive'.
The Garda member was one of two officers who responded to the incident in Cherry Orchard on Monday evening.
Speaking in a Garda Representative Association statement, she said it was 'daunting to see the mob baying for our car'.
A source told the Irish Examiner around 15 frontline members have resigned in the Ballyfermot Garda District over the past two years alone.
