The Garda Commissioner says he's horrified by the findings of Garda collusion in the murders of two senior RUC officers in 1989.
The Smithwick Tribunal report says that while there is no direct evidence, on the balance of probabilities, collusion did occur.
Chief Superintendent Harry Breen and Superintendent Bob Buchanan were shot dead by the IRA in South Armagh after crossing the border.
They had been attending a meeting at Dundalk Garda station in Co Louth.
Martin Callinan, who says he fully accepts the findings, says the collusion is a betrayal of the Garda Siochana:
