Gardai are trying to establish the circumstances surrounding a shooting incident in Dublin, in which two men were injured.
A 52-year-old man, cycling on Glasnevin Avenue in Glasnevin at around 8.15am this morning, was shot in the stomach beside a bus stop.
A short time later, a second man aged 31 was discovered nearby at Hillcrest Park (pictured below) with gunshot injuries to his leg.
The men are being treated for non life threatening injuries in the Mater and Beaumont Hospitals.
A sealed off laneway being examined by investigating Gardai:
Garda spokesperson, Superintendent David Taylor, says tests are being carried out on a shotgun found at the second scene.
