The funeral mass for a teenage boy who tragically died in a car accident at the weekend will takes place in Galway City this morning.
16-year-old John Keenan Sammon, 17-year-old Wojcieck Panek, and 19-year-old Christopher Stokes were killed when their car entered the River Corrib in the early hours of Saturday morning.
John will be laid to rest in Ballinfoyle, while the funeral for his friend Christopher will take place at the same church tomorrow.
Wojcieck Panekk will be laid to rest on Friday in Kilkenny.
Gardaí are continuing to investigate their deaths and are asking anyone who was near Menlo Pier and Headford Road between 1.40 am and 2.40 am last Saturday to contact them.
