The funeral of six-year-old Matthew Healy will take place in Co Cork this afternoon.
Requiem Mass will be held in the Church of the Immaculate Conception in the village of Watergrasshill at 12 noon. It will be followed by a private service in The Island Crematorium in Ringaskiddy.
The senior infants pupil was found unresponsive in a car, close to Dunmore East in Co Waterford, in the early hours of last Friday morning.
His mother has been charged with his murder, which took place on the 8th or 9th of February, at Rathmoylan in Co Waterford.
37-year-old Ruth Purcell Healy, of Bishopsfield, Williamstown in Waterford city was brought before a special sitting of Waterford District Court on Tuesday night.
Detective Sergeant David Shore, said the accused said “no thank you” when asked if she wanted to reply to the charge.
She was remanded in custody to Limerick Prison. She's due to appear in court again next Tuesday via video link.
Meanwhile, Gardaí are warning of a scam website which claims to be a link to a livestream of the funeral of Matthew Healy.
The post includes a link that directs users to a webpage asking for personal details.
Gardaí are advising anyone who wants to livestream the mass, to revert to the parish of Watergrasshill and Glenville directly.
