The funeral of Jack de Bromhead takes place in Butlerstown, County Waterford this afternoon.
The 13-year-old son of Grand National winning trainer Henry de Bromhead died at Glenbeigh races in Co Kerry on Saturday.
A horse-riding whip and goggles, a rugby ball and a hunting horn were brought to the alter as symbols of the 13-year-old's life.
Representatives of President Michael D Higgins and the Taoiseach were in attendance.
The family has asked people attending the service to wear bright and light-coloured clothing to celebrate his spirit.
