The funeral of Cameron Blair, the Cork student who died following a stabbing in Cork last week, will take place on Sunday.
The 20-year-old was killed at a house on the Bandon Road last Thursday night and a murder investigation has been launched.
No arrests have been made, but gardaí are understood to be making progress in the investigation.
He is survived by his parents, Kathy and Noel, by his brother, Alan.
His funeral service will take place on Sunday at 2pm in St Peter's Church, Bandon, followed by burial in Kilbeg Cemetery.
