Hopes are rising that the four Irish citizens who have been missing in Egypt since Friday could be released today.
The Halawa siblings are understood to be in a jail in central Cairo after being detained by police during violence in Cairo last Friday.
It's thought that the siblings were seen by a Turkish diplomat who was visiting another inmate in the same prison.
Meanwhile a group of Egyptian and Irish demonstrators have been holding a protest at the Egyptian embassy in Dublin to demand the family's release.
