Former Paralympian Oscar Pistorius is up for parole - 10 years after killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
The sprinter repeatedly shot the 29-year-old through the toilet door of his home in Pretoria, South Africa on Valentine’s Day in 2013.
He could be freed from prison within weeks after serving half of his 13-year sentence.
Steenkamp family lawyer Tania Koen, says Mr Pistorius has never shown any sign of remorse and shouldn't be released.
"Oscar never told the truth. He gave various versions in court.
"He had an opportunity to clarify those versions and chose not to testify in the mitigation of his sentence".
