A food delivery cyclist has died following a hit and run in Dublin.
Thiago Cortes was knocked off his bike on North Wall Quay on Monday.
It happened at around 10:30 pm that night.
The Brazilian cyclist was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
However, he passed away from his injuries today.
The car failed to remain at the scene and was later discovered a short distance away.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
A vigil held in his honour took place at The Spire in Dublin City this evening.
