A status orange rain warning will be in place in Cork and Waterford from 4pm this afternoon.
It's as a report yesterday warned of the potential for catastrophic flooding in parts of Cork.

Met Eireann is warning of heavy rain which could lead to flooding and difficult driving conditions.
From 6pm a status yellow rain warning will in place in the rest of Munster as well as parts of Leinster.
