There’s a risk of flooding this morning with heavy rains all around the country.
Met Eireann has issued a national Status Yellow Alert, warning that some “heavy or thundery pulses of rain Sunday night and Monday will lead to flooding in places”.

The alert is set to remain in place until 8pm this evening.
Drivers are being warned to take care with dangerous road conditions expected.
Met Éireann said the outbreaks of rain will continue into the afternoon in most areas with further flooding expected.
