Flooding is making driving conditions hazardous this afternoon and causing problems for commuters.

A landslide on the line at Waterford train station is affecting rail services to Thomastown and Carrick-on-Suir.

In Dublin, Marine Drive and Strand Rd in Sandymount are closed due to a flood threat - local bus services have been diverted.

Flooding is also reported at Booterstown Ave and Upper Glenageary Rd.

Traffic is down to one lane outbound on Conygham rd due to a wall collapse at Bridge Water Quay.

In Co. Louth, Gardai are urging motorists to take care on the Coast Rd in Blackrock as waves are breaching the wall.
