Flogas has become the latest energy company to announce price cuts.
It's cutting its gas rates by 25% and electricity by 15% from the 25th of March.
It's estimated to amount to savings of €429 a year on the average gas bill, €274 for electricity, and €703 for dual fuel customers.
Gas standing charges will also be reduced by 10%, while electricity standing charges will remain unchanged.
Flogas had previously announced a price cut last November, when it cut its gas and electricity prices by 30% each.
Daragh Cassidy, from price comparison website Bonkers.ie, says these price cuts are coming from a high level.
"Flogas rates until this announcement today were very, very high. So even though those price drops look pretty significant and are much bigger than the price cuts we've seen from other suppliers that have been announced over the past two or three weeks, it still only leaves Flogas prices at average levels".
