Five-Year-Old Girl And Woman in Her 30s In A Serious Condition After Attack In Dublin
A five year old girl and woman in her 30s are in a serious condition in hospital following the attack in the capital earlier this afternoon.
The young girl is undergoing emergency treatment in Temple Street this evening.
Two other children - a girl and a boy aged five and six were also attacked and had minor injuries.
They were both taken to Crumlin Hospital - the boy has been discharged.
A man, who is in his 50s was also brought to hospital with injuries that have been described as serious.
Gardaí have described this man as a person of interest in the case.
Officers say they are not looking for anyone else in connection to the incident.
A knife was used in the attack.
It's believed it happened outside their school when they were going to an after-school creche.
