Fine Gael MEP Mairead McGuinness has retained her seat in the European Parliament.
She was elected in the first count in Midlands North West.
Meanwhile in Ireland South, Sean Kelly seems to be doing better than the 16 per cent the poll had him on - as does independent Mick Wallace who was on 10.
The counting continues at the Dublin European Count Centrem with the Green's Ciaran Cuffe looking likely to take the first seat.
