The family of a missing 86-year-old man have appealed for help in finding their father.
Paddy Rainsford was last seen leaving his home at Annagh in Lisnagry, Co Limerick yesterday evening at 7.30pm.
His family say that Paddy suffers from dementia and may possibly be in a confused state.
Paddy left his house on Wednesday in a navy blue coloured Skoda Rapid car with the registration number 161 L 98.
Searches have been carried out today by gardaí and members of the public in the area.
