A new survey shows eight out of 10 adults use online social networks.
According to the EMC-Amárach survey published this morning, 80% of Irish adults now use social media through mobile devices, while over half of online adults in Ireland are active on the main social media sites.
The survey, conducted among 1,000 adults, found that 78% of adults use Facebook, 42 per-cent use YouTube, 32 per-cent use Twitter, with 27 per-cent using LinkedIn.
