Older people, who are cocooning, are expected to be allowed to exercise outdoors when the government begins easing restrictions next month.
Designated times for over 70s to use parks and other amenities are also under consideration, according to the Irish Independent.
It's also expected that the ban on non-essential travel will be eased slightly to allow people to go beyond 2 kilometres, but a new limit is likely to be set.
Hardware shops and garden centres are expected to reopen as long as social distancing is adhered to.
