Residential property prices are continuing to rise.
Latest figures from the CSO show the national rate of increase was 6.1% in the year to October.
In Dublin, residential property prices went up 2.3 % in the month of October and they are now 15 percent higher than a year ago.
Outside of Dublin, they went up by 1.5 percent in October, compared to a decrease of zero-point-nine percent in October last year.
In Dublin, prices are 48 percent lower than at their highest level in early 2007.
