There's a good chance we won't know any European election results today at all.
Counting is underway in the three European constituencies and the local elections.
In Ireland South there's 7 tonnes of ballot papers to be sorted before the end of the night.
There's more than 600,000 votes being counted in Midlands North West and it looks as though there won't be a first count in either constituency today.
Nothing can be announced until 10pm until polls close in all European countries.
The counters at the Ireland South centre in Cork are going to be busy #EP2019
