The European Commission believes a no deal Brexit on April 12th is a likely scenario.
Earlier today the Brexit withdrawal agreement was defeated by 58 votes in the House of Commons.
It's the third time British MPs have rejected the proposal.
We regret negative vote in House of Commons. As per European Council (Article 50) decision on 22 March, period provided for in Article 50 , extended to 12 April. UK to indicate way forward before that date, for consideration by the Council.

The EU says it is now fully prepared for a no deal Brexit - preparations for such a scenario began in December 2017.
The European Commission has said the benefits of the Withdrawal Agreement, including a transition period, will in no circumstances be replicated in a “no-deal” scenario.
It's also stated that sectoral mini-deals are not an option.
