Energia Group is to create 200 new jobs in Dublin.
The new roles will come on stream over the next 5 years.
It will see Energia Group expand it's Irish workforce to 1,000.
Those employed by the company will work out of its new offices in Blanchardstown, which were opened today.
The expansion comes as part of a new €3 billion investment in Irish renewable energy generation and other related systems.
Up to 5,000 construction jobs will be created. over the duration of the programme.
Energia Group CEO Ian Thom says the investment is:
"a clear signal of our intent to build on our continuous commitment to Irish communities, the economy and the sustainability of Ireland’s energy supply"
