Apple is discontinuing the latest version - the iPod Touch - after 20 years on the market.

The tech giant has worked many of its features into other devices and the will keep the last remaining generation of the iPod on sale while supplies last
The device first hit the market in 2001 and became the first mp3 device that could hold over 1,000 songs.
Between the Nano, the Mini and the Shuffle - the iPod held 70% of the global mp3 market by 2011.
In a statement a, Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice-president of worldwide marketing, said the “spirit of iPod lives on”
He said the iPod "redefined how music is discovered, listened to, and shared."
