Twitter CEO Elon Musk says he has rolled back on new 'official' badges within hours of launching them.
The grey ticks were designed to distinguish official accounts from new Twitter Blue subscribers - who can get a blue tick by paying $8 a month.
However, Mr Musk reversed the decision to roll out the new badges, and is reported to have told advertisers it was an 'aesthetic nightmare'.
Web video producer Marques Brownlee tweeted "it's now gone", Musk replied: "I just killed it."
