Electric Picnic has been moved to the final weekend of September.
Organizers say that by holding the festival from September 24th-26th there is a much better chance of it going ahead.
The event was originally scheduled to go ahead in Stradbally, Co. Laois on the opening weekend of the month.

In a statement, the EP team says they are still confident the festival can go ahead this year due to the success of the vaccination rollout programme.
They acknowledge that the changing date of the picnic may not suit everyone.
Therefore ticket holders can avail of a refund if they cannot attend on the final weekend of September
