Edwin Poots has been elected as the new leader of the DUP.
Northern Ireland's Agriculture Minister defeated MP Jeffrey Donaldson by a margin of 19 votes to 17 in the party's first ever leadership contest.
Poots will succeed Arlene Foster who is set to step down at the end of this month.
He's said he'll work with other leaders in unionism to tackle trading problems in the deal with the EU following Brexit
Poots said "The Northern Ireland Protocol has proven to be a massive challenge for us. If we are to fight this, to ensure that everybody in Northern Ireland is not worse off as a consequence of the protocol, then it's for us to do that together."
