The policing bill for Garth Brooks' five concerts in Croke Park last year was €380,000.
According to freedom of information files, it was by far the most expensive event for policing last year.
Aiken Promotions paid the policing costs around the country music star's concerts in Dublin last September.
The next most expensive was the Malahide Castle Summer Concerts in Dublin between June 14th and 25th - at almost €272,000.
The policing bill for the National Ploughing Championships in Ratheniska, Co. Laois, last September was over €254,000.
Three other events cost just under 255,000 euro each last year for three concerts in Marlay Park in Dublin last June, featuring Green Day, Guns and Roses and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
The second was the three-day Longitude Festival at the same venue in July.
