€110,000 in cash and 11 vehicles have been seized by the Criminal Assets Bureau in Co. Longford.
A total of 16 searches were carried out across the county by the Bureau who were assisted by the Emergency Response Unit and Armed Support Unit.
The CAB investigation is focused on an Organised Crime Group based in Longford who are suspected to be involved in the sale and supply of drugs, intimidation and extortion.
12 homes, three commercial premises and one professional premises were searched as part of the operation.
It led to the recovery of €110,000 and £14,000 in cash.
Meanwhile, 3 caravans were seized along with 11 vehicles including a Mercedes, Skoda Kodiaq, Isuzu DMAX, Ford Ranger, Toyota Landruiser and assorted light commercial vehicles.

3 Power Washers, 3 designer watches, handbags and footwear were also seized while ginancial accounts in excess of € 80,000 were frozen.
The gang targeted in today’s search operation is heavily involved in the ongoing feud in the Longford area and a number of members have been before the Courts already.
Gardai say the gang members have amassed a large property portfolio as a result of the proceeds of their involvement in criminal activity.
