Dublin Library Asks Members Not To Microwave Books To Kill Covid-19

A Dublin Library is urging its members not to microwave its books.

It turns out some people have been doing this as they believe it will kill covid-19.

Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Library says all returned material is quarantined for 72 hours.

It's warning that all books are fitted with a metallic tag which will burn if microwaved.

Management at the library have posted a picture to show how the books can get damaged:
