A proposed co-living development in Dublin has been granted planning permission by An Bord Pleanala.
Bartra Capital Property Group is looking to build the property at Eblana Avenue, Dun Laoghaire.
Here's what the proposed development will look like:
For around €1,300 a month renters will get a private room but have to share a kitchen with dozens of others.
Decision
Commenting on the decision Mike Flannery CEO of Bartra said: “The Bord recognise that there is a place for co-living within the Irish housing market and we look forward to delivering this new and innovative form of accommodation”.
He adds "Ireland needs new models of housing to cater for changing demographics, living habits and employment patterns. Co-living is one such response to these changes."
Batra Capital says it will go ahead with the development and implement all conditions outlined by An Bord Pleanála.
