Drivers are being warned to take extra care on the roads this morning with icy conditions in parts of the country.
Temperatures dropped below freezing in some areas last night and Met Eireann has a status yellow snow and ice warning for all counties in place until 8AM.
Frost and ice are making driving conditions more difficult on some routes in Carlow, Naas, Mullingar, Wicklow and on the M7 in Kildare.
Icy conditions this morning around parts of Leinster and Tipperary; snow or slush may also linger on higher ground. Caution advised. Full updates at https://t.co/PSzIBsvOzE pic.twitter.com/AAXlF0CgMo
