Spending in pubs, at the bookies and on tolls rose last weekend - as people celebrated the double bank holiday.
Figures from the Bank of Ireland shows spending in bars and nightclubs rose by 39 percent.
Many of us took to some domestic travel too, with spending at motorway tolls up 119 percent.
The Cheltenham Festival also saw more people betting, with a 56 increase in money spent on on gambling.
There was a 27 percent increase in spending overall, as Irish people got into the spirit of the extra-long bank holiday weekend.
