Drinking alcohol and playing loud music are among the complaints made to Irish Rail.
Its text service has received almost 700 complaints over three months.
Since 2019, Irish Rail has operated a text line service where people can send messages about bad behaviour on trains.
686 complaints were received between last November and February this year.
Drinking alcohol and drunkenness were among top of the complaints, followed by passengers taking drugs, smoking, racist behaviour and people playing loud music or videos on their phone.

Another said 'three men openly consuming and snorting what is clearly drugs on carriage in open view' according to the Irish Times.
Irish Rail is asking anyone who has complaints to text 51444 with the word TRAIN, along with details of the incident, the location and the service it happened on.
