700 jobs are being created at DPD before the end of the year.
DPD is currently the country's largest parcel delivery company.

150 of the new jobs will be located at its headquarters in Athlone, Co. Westmeath.
The remaining 550 new roles will be working throughout its 36 depots across the country.
DPD is looking to hire a mix of drivers and operations staff as part of the process.
The firm is investing 1 million euro in its Co Westmeath facility, it's also spending a further 1 million euro in driver scanner technology.
The company says the staff are required as they plan to deliver 200,000 parcels each day in the lead up to Christmas.
