Donegal officially has the Greatest Accent in Ireland, as voted by listeners to The Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show.
Voting has been taking place over the past two weeks with the winner officially revealed on the show on Today FM this morning.

The top four included accents from Donegal, Monaghan, Kerry and Galway.
Listener representatives from the final eight were tasked with creating an advert for their county.
Kieran Kelly from Donegal created his Trainspotting-inspired entry, which many listeners believe should be now used by the Donegal tourist board.
