Donald Trump has become the first-ever ex-US President to face criminal charges.
He has been indicted by a grand jury in New York over an alleged hush money payment to pornstar Stormy Daniels in 2016.
It's over an alleged payment of $130,000 to the adult film star during the 2016 presidential election campaign.
The money was in exchange for silence about an alleged affair she had with him a decade earlier.
However, he says he's 'completely innocent' and is claiming "political persecution".
His lawyers have said they will "vigorously fight" the allegations.
