Donald Trump is set to become the next President of the United States.
Addressing his supporters at the West Palm Beach Convention Centre in Florida he described the election as a "magnificent victory for the American people that will allow us to 'make America Great again'.
Counting is still underway, but it seems almost certain Mr Trump be back in the White House as he's just shy of the magic number of 270 electoral college votes needed.
The Taoiseach has congratulated Donald Trump on his victory, saying the 'people of the United States have spoken'.
In a statement this morning, Simon Harris says "Ireland and the United States have deep and historical bonds of people, and we will work to make these even stronger in the years ahead".

Meanwhile, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Micheál Martin, says the Irish Government looks forward to working with Mr Trump's new administration in a 'constructive manner', as it did during his previous administration.
Israel's Prime Minister is among world leaders congratulating Donald Trump, describing his victory as 'history's greatest comeback'.
Benjamin Netanyahu, says Mr Trump's return to the White House will lead to a 'powerful recommitment to the great alliance between Israel and America'.
Ukraine's President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, says he's looking forward to personally congratulating President Trump, and appreciates his “peace through strength” approach to global affairs.
