Junior Doctors and the Health Service Executive are to attend talks at the Labour Relations Commission this afternoon in an effort to avert strike action later this month.
The doctors represented by the Irish Medical Organisation claim they are forced to work 24 hour rosters in contravention of an EU directive.
The IMO claims more than half of junior Doctors will leave the Irish Health Service and emigrate because they are overworked.
