Specialist teams, including garda forensics experts are carrying out searches to see if there are any more body parts in a field in Co Meath.
It's after a severed human arm was found by a walker at The Mayne in Clonee, around half four yesterday evening.
DNA and fingerprint analysis is being carried out on the arm, which was taken to Navan mortuary.
