Digital Covid Certificates will start to be updated from this evening.
From February 1st, the certs will only be valid for travel within the EU for 9 months since a person's last vaccine dose.
Good news with regard to the EU Digital Covid Cert. In line with EU commitments, the certs will be updated to reflect third doses, by January 15th.

The updated cert will arrive by email or some people may receive a text with further instructions on how to obtain their cert.
Minister of State for eGovernment Ossian Smyth says it'll mean vaccinated people can continue to travel at ease within the EU.
